Event Description
This will be a 50s/60s theme with street dances, music, outdoor movies, and many other activities to celebrate the successful completion of three major projects. Think of the "Harry Potter Party" but much bigger. Costume contests, Limbo contests, Twist contests, vendors, and much more. There'll also be a treasure hunt connected with this event. We're hoping for thousands of folks.

- I've tried to change this event's info, but can't figure out how to do it. This event has been moved to September 11th and 12th in conjunction with the First City Festival. It's going to be much bigger than originally planned. As we get closer to September, I will fill in additional information.

Comment by Wendy Scheidt on April 7, 2009 at 12:13pm - Bob - Plans have changed for the June 6 celebration - it will just be on Delaware Street. July 4 will be the Haymarket Square celebration. These should be a lot of fun and something the community will come out in full force for.
